JLW was formed by Mattias and Oscar in a closed down storageroom in the hospital areas of Kalmar. Just like Wood have played together for one year and they have already made a music video, recorded an album and had two live gigs (at a football event at Fanzone and at Söderport’s café). According to the latest review the sound can be described as Americana. Just like Wood is driven by an ambition to write the best songs in the world and also the joy of playing together, both live and at rehearsals. Characteristic for the Just like Wood is their three-vocal harmonies, rough pop combined with an exciting live performance.
